Autic Vivan Loy, 84
Autic Vivan Loy was born on November 6, 1935 in Russell County to Vivan and Ruth (Warriner) Loy. He departed this life on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the U.K. Hospital in Lexington. He was 84 years of age.
He was a self-employed livestock dealer and a partner in the Russell Co. Stockyards, Farmer Livestock Mkt. in Glasgow and Lake Cumberland Livestock Mkt. in Somerset.
He loved every aspect of the cattle industry and enjoyed promoting it. He also enjoyed being on the farm and checking his livestock every day.
Autic made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of Fairview Separate Baptist Church. He never left a church service without thanking God for all He had done for him.
He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; his parents Vivan Loy and Ruth (Warriner) Loy and a brother Jimmy Dale Loy.
Survivors include; his wife Irene Popplewell Loy, Jamestown; his son Jeff (Vicki) Loy, Jamestown; his daughter Nenna (Barry) Lawson, Russell Springs; grandchildren Weston Loy, Kaylyn Loy, Brannon Lawson, Nathan Lawson; brother Arvis (Rosalie) Loy, Jamestown; sisters Helen Grant, Dunnville; Jeanette (Jimmie) Bolin, Jamestown; sister in law Carol Loy, Jamestown
A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service for Autic Loy will be 3 p.m. CDT Thursday, July 30, 2020, at the Fairview Separate Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Baldwin and Bro. Barry Lawson officiat.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. till funeral time at 3 p.m. at the church.
Pallbearers: Weston Loy, Brannon Lawson, Nathan Lawson, Darrell Loy, Donnie Bolin, Jeron Loy.
Honorary pallbearers: James Brown, Tony Ferguson, Dean Hayes, Todd Bloyd, Craig Martin, Lawrence Purvis, Larry Story, Andy Wilson, Jack Bell.
Interment in the Dixon Cemetery.
