Roger Dale Roy, 71

Roger Dale Roy, 71, of Stanford, Ky (formerly of Russell Co) died Friday, May 22, 2020 at his home. He was born January 25, 1949 in Somerset, Ky to the late Rufus and Clarice Delaine Roy.

He was a Service Manager at a automobile dealer and a Veteran of US Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; a brother, Stevie Roy; two sisters, Polly Acree and Lana Brown.

Survivors include; his wife Diana Fern Popplewell Roy; four children Angela Diana (Isaiah) Mayes, Bowling Green, Gina Gale Roy Shelburne, Danville, Ky, Brooks (Donnie) Cook, Lexington, and Andrea Nicole Roy, Harrodsburg, Ky; nine grandchildren; one sister,  Kathy Lynn (Dwight) Gossage, Russell Springs, and one brother, Anthony (Sherry) Roy, Bowling Green

Funeral service for Roger Dale Roy was held Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larold Gosser officiating.

Interment in the Union Cemetery with full military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard.
