William Henry Hill, 81

William Henry Hill, 81, of Jamestown, Ky. passed away on February 26, 2020 at the Russell County Hospital after a prolonged illness.

He was born in Bryan, Ky on February 27, 1938, to the late Thomas and Adell Lawless Hill and was the eighth of 14 siblings in his family.

He was a member of the Union Chapel Methodist Church and was a well-known mechanic and farmer in the Union Chapel community.

He confessed Christ in 1963 and was always active in his church by leading singing, teaching Sunday school and doing whatever needed to be done to ensure church activities were in order.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Donald R. Hill and one great-grandson. Blake Walters.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Faetta Hill; two sons, David (Tammie Jo) Hill of Russell Springs and Curtis (Stacy) Hill of Jamestown; one daughter, Cheniel Skaggs of  Jamestown; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Hill, Jr. of Jamestown and Ewell Hill of Jamestown; one sister, Eva Bunch of Jamestown.

Funeral service for William Henry Hill was held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Garner officiating.

Interment was in the Dixon Cemetery.
