RCH Board of Directors discuss COVID-19
Teresa Spaw
RCH Director of Administrative Services
I know the past week has certainly been an eventful one for our communities.
The RCH Board of Directors held their monthly meeting last evening at Duo Broadband, away from the Hospital as we have stopped visitors to the Hospital. Only the Judge Exec, CEO and myself were in attendance with the Board. Mindful of social distancing.
If you are a patient or are coming for a patient need such as lab, X’ray etc or delivering supplies or are an employee you can enter the only exception to this is Hospice. The Board meeting discussion centered mostly around COVID-19 as you can imagine, with regular business being addressed as well.
Last night was the first meeting for RCH’s new CEO, Patrick Branco who has certainly had to take charge in not the best of circumstances but is very calm in the face of things changing almost hourly through some of this.
We maintain our mission which is to Provide Care to the Communities we Serve and our position is that we will do what we can do every day to take care of the people who come to us, realizing the situation can change from day to day.
